This morning at the Bike to Work Challenge Kick Off event downtown I picked up some little pins for us all. One version of the pin is red with white ”Yay Bikes!” The other version of the pin is white with ”Bike to Work Challenge Central Ohio 2010” on it. Bike to Work Week Event and Cycling CEO Challenge OSU Gateway Plaza

The Cycling CEO Challenge Bike to Work will gather at the OSU Gateway Plaza for a brief ceremony with Mayor Coleman at 7:30. We’ll ride en mass, under safe police escort, the 2.5 miles south on High Street to the Statehouse, for the celebration event at 8:30 am.Happy, warm, dry, safe riding!

I’ve never had the pleasure of riding my bike to work before. Any advise for a newbie? I’m planning to ride on 5/13 — I think it’s about 7 miles.
If you take the Olentangy River trail, look out for the geese. They apparently own the place.
Hey, Donna! Glad you’ve joined us – t-shirt and all!
I recommend checking out the weather report the night before so you can dress accordingly. Keep in mind that we have a shower at Goodwill, if you want to use it when you arrive.
Leaving with a little more time than you think you might need will allow you to relax and enjoy the ride a bit more.
I HIGHLY recommend wearing a helmet.
Where will you be biking from and at what on 5/13? Would having someone ride with you be helpful?
Steve’s right about the geese on the trail – especially since all the goslings have hatched.
