I really struggled with the bike rack on the bus today. But, I was ultimately victorious (with no help from the bus driver). It was super fun to coast down the hill towards MDK!!
That’s awesome Cate! I rode from Time Warner to here, in light rain. Ttomorrow I may ride from the trail since it’s not supposed to rain. I SO want us to win!!
Way to go, Cate! I’m impressed you stuck with it. Too bad the driver doesn’t want to help, but you were a champ despite the obstacles! I echo Amanda’s sentiments!

Honor cyclists killed or injured by motorists in the Annual Ride of Silence next Wednesday:

Ohio Statehouse – South side
Downtown Columbus, OH
Purpose
The Ride of Silence is a slow group ride of 12 miles, akin to a funeral procession, in total silence. The ride is a safe, responsible, professional and mature response to the aggressiveness, intimidation, and carnage that cyclists face on the roads we ride.
I plan to ride there via the Olentangy trail around 5:45. I am meeting Roll: teammates. Join us!I’m there, rain or shine. The ”better” half may plan to join if the weather holds out.
Cool. I did this last year and was amazed at the turnout.
Would love to do it, but will be out of town Wed eve (and Thurs, unfortunately for our numbers). Hopefully, I’ll make it next year. I like the idea a lot.

Saw the egret in the river at OSU. The old and grungy looks like it’s on the way back from being the dumping ground for Dixie Margarine that it was in the day.
Wow I have only seen one of those once and they are known as fishing birds, so yeah hopefully the ecosystem is improving over there!
