In consideration of my participation in any way in the Bike to Work Challenge bicycling event, related events and activities, I acknowledge and agree that to the following:
- I understand these terms of service. If I do not understand these terms of service I will seek clarification or I will not participate in the Bike to Work Challenge and related activities;
- The risk of injury from cycling is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death. Regardless of any precautions the risk of serious injury does exist;
- I knowingly and freely accept all risks related to my participation in The Bike To Work Challenge, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence any party associated with The Bike To Work Challenge or others, and whether or not covered by my personal health or other type of insurance; and I assume full responsibility for my participation in The Bike To Work Challenge;
- I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation immediately; and,
- I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin- hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless any sponsor, participant, and organizer of The Bike to Work Challenge with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I have read these terms and agree to the assumption of risk, I fully understand these terms, and agree freely and voluntarily wihtout any inducement.
By using this site you are agreeing a complete release of liability and your total assumption of risk. These terms are subject to change. Changes will be posted on this Website.
